Fence type / description of project:
When a valued contractor partner approached our Augusta team with a tight timeline for a custom pool enclosure at a premier country club, we were ready to deliver. The project required a solution that would meet applicable pool safety requirements while complementing the property’s high-end aesthetic.
Working closely with the contractor, our team developed a custom Hardie board fence system featuring two self-closing gates equipped with panic hardware for added safety and functionality. From design and fabrication through installation, every detail was carefully coordinated to ensure the finished product met both the functional and visual expectations of the project.
Despite the accelerated schedule, our team completed the installation ahead of the Memorial Day weekend, allowing the pool to open on time. The project is a strong example of our ability to provide customized fencing solutions, collaborate closely with our commercial partners, and deliver quality craftsmanship when timelines matter most.
What made this project unique:
While the customer preferred the durability of steel posts, the Hardie board fencing required a custom wood framing system to provide the proper structure for attachment. Our team worked closely with the general contractor to develop a tailored framing solution using PostMaster posts installed through a combination of anchoring to concrete walls, setting in concrete, and driven installation methods. Because Hardie board is an uncommon material in fence construction, the project required creativity, flexibility, and close collaboration from the start. By stepping beyond a traditional fencing approach and developing a solution specifically for the site, we were able to deliver a finished product that was both structurally sound and visually impressive.
