Mark Rouse, Vice President - Owner
Mark grew up in the fence industry, working on installation crews during summer breaks throughout high school and college. After graduating with a business degree from UNC Wilmington, he officially joined the family business in 1995.
In the residential side of the business, Mark takes great pleasure in helping homeowners select the right fence to fit their needs. On the commercial side, he values the strong, lasting relationships we build with General Contractors and he works hard to ensure every project is a success.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time at the lake with friends and playing golf.
Jason Daniels, Vice President of Sales
Jason is proud to have been with Seegars Fence for more than 30 years. He spends his free time with family and soaking up time with his grandbabies!
Ken Manning, Vice President of Sales
Ken has been with Seegars Fence Company for more than 26 years. He enjoys working with the entire team as well as our customers in the surrounding communities we serve. He and his wife have three teenagers. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and doing anything outdoors.

Dustin Hardy, Fence Sales Consultant
Dustin has over 10 years of experience in the fence industry. He has lived in Mebane since 2003, both he and his wife grew up in Durham. He has one child and two dogs. His son Bennett is in college currently playing soccer and his wife is employed with Duke University. In his free time, Dustin enjoys playing golf and visiting antique stores collecting vinyl records.

Jeremy began working with Seegars in 2019, after working with Chic-fil-a for 7 years. His favorite thing about working here is getting to spend most of his days outside meeting and getting to know all kinds of different people. Dusty Horne has 18 years of experience in the fencing industry and has been a certified welder for 16 years. He takes pride in delivering high-quality, customized fencing solutions to customers while collaborating with his team in Raleigh. Beyond work, he loves being a husband and dad, cheering on his favorite sports teams, and traveling to new places. Dusty also values mentorship, taking the time to share his expertise and support the growth of others in his field.
Anthony Lazo, Superintendent
Anthony brings over 11 years of experience in the fence industry to his role at Seegars. Since joining the team, he has thrived in the positive and supportive work environment. Outside of work, Anthony enjoys exploring the natural beauty of North Carolina, particularly its scenic mountains. He values quality time with family and friends, making the most of his downtime.
Derek Schaffer, Superintendent
Derek has been working in the fence industry since 2008, started as a Helper, then worked his way up to Foreman, and now currently at the SFC Raleigh as a Superintendent. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with family and his two chihuahua’s Pepper and Archie. Derek also enjoys time outdoors fishing, camping, and traveling.
Mary Kathryn Manning, Office Administrator
Mary Kathryn (“MK”) joined the Seegars Fence Company team in 2008 as a part-time Office Assistant when her kids were younger; and, in 2020, began her current position as Office Administrator. She enjoys assisting customers and working with a close-knit team. Everyone works very well together and has a lot of fun as well. When not in the office, MK enjoys doing “all the things” with her family. She proudly has three teenagers that keep her extremely busy but, she wouldn’t have it any other way!

Jennifer has a rich background in special education, having worked in that field before joining Seegars Fence over 26 years ago. Outside of work, she cherishes spending time with her growing family, always finding joy in new experiences and adventures. Whether hiking, enjoying time at Kerr Lake, exploring the mountains, or relaxing at the beach, she loves to be outdoors. Golf is another favorite pastime, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and challenge.

How do I prepare for my fence installation?
Your estimator/project manager will provide detailed information to you ahead of time on the steps which need to occur before Seegars Fence Company can safely and seamlessly install your new fence. This includes removing any furniture or outdoor equipment that would possibly be in the way of our fence installers. You will also need to dial your local service for identifying the electrical and water lines in your yard (for North Carolina this number is 811). Some Durham neighborhoods belong to an HOA, you will need to check and make sure you have received all approvals needed for the installation of your fence ahead of install.
What You Should Do Before Installation:
- Understand Zoning and Covenants: Check local zoning restrictions or neighborhood covenants and communicate them to your fence contractor.
